Obituary of Shirley J. Wiltshire
Shirley Jeanine Wiltshire, 88 of Clinton, Il, formerly of Plainview, IL, passed from this world into the arms of Jesus on Friday evening, March 21, 2025, at Liberty Village in Clinton, IL.
Shirley was born June 22, 1936, in Carlinville, IL, the only child of Ralph and Lora (Haycraft) Wheeler. Shirley graduated from Shipman High School with the class of 1954. She married Floyd "Mac" Wiltshire on December 19, 1954, at Shipman United Methodist Church.
She was a homemaker and helped Mac on the family farm. She was very good at clerical work as the secretary for the Shipman Elevator as well as the secretary and bookkeeper for John Deere in Carlinville. Shirley also worked at The Western (OLIN) in Alton, IL. She was a member of Shipman united Methodist Church. She liked bowling, gardening, making ceramics, knitting and playing games. Shirley was a member of several card clubs, greatly enjoying the time spent in that and on the many trips she and her husband
