Connie K. Cole, 73, of Shipman, IL, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at her home in Shipman, IL.
Connie was born December 21, 1950, in Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of Iven and Juanita Neal Gwinn. Connie received her BA degree from Mississippi College with honors.
She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church, loved to cook, and her family describes her as an avid quilt maker.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Luper Boyd Cole.
Graveside service will be held in the Garden of Memories, Chancellor Funeral Home, 2576 Hwy 49 S, Florence, MS 39073 at a later date.
Connie is survived by her companion, Larry Newby of Shipman, IL, daughter, Constance (David) Turner of Brandon, MS, son, James Jones (Rowan) Logan, IV of Seymour, TN, son, Jonathan (Aimee) Cole of Jackson, MS, son, Brian (Genia) Cole of Kingwood, TX, nine grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers; Gary Gwinn of Carlinville, IL, Ivan "Buster" Gwinn, Gerald Gwinn of Paragould, AR, and Larry Gwinn of Parag
