Robert "Bob" Calvin Shipman - Robert "Bob" Dean Calvin, 94, of Shipman, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was born on November 13, 1929, in Liberty, MO, to the late Dennis T. and Margaret M. (Eliker) Calvin. On May 7, 1955, Bob married Greta F. Johnson in Alton, IL. They celebrated 67 wonderful years of marriage prior to her passing on January 25, 2023. Bob retired from Laclede Steel and also farmed. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his daughters Debbie (Ronald) Cameron and Darlene (Dennis) Badgley, both of shipman; grandchildren Amanda (DJ) Kroeschel, Amy (Jake) Dunsing, Alex (Rachel) Calvin, Chris (Francie) Cameron, Valerie (Mike) Kohlrus, Terry Crawford, Barb (Ron) Rawlings; sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; daughter in law Sharon Hess.
